About Flood Editing
Flood Editing offers a wide range of editing services, including copyediting, proofreading, developmental editing, content editing, translation services, and query package reviews. I aim to help you bring your writing to the next level, whether this is your first op-ed or your tenth novel.
My name is Angelina Flood. I’m an editor and writer based at Harvard University.
I am open to clients writing fiction and nonfiction. In fiction, my expertise is in fantasy, romance, and historical fiction in the categories of adult, young adult, and middle grade. I am not a good fit for horror. In nonfiction, I specialize in academic writing, from essays and op-eds to policy memos and research papers in the fields of foreign policy and international relations. I am not a good fit for highly technical writing in STEM fields.
I have taught writing at the university level, and, as a generation 1.5 immigrant, I also have a lifetime of experience in translation and interpreting. I’m fluent in AP and MLA style, and am familiar with Chicago and APA style. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Literature, where my research interests included gender in Irish literature, Russian literature, and the Victorian and Modernist periods.
I’ve worked with everyone from students to seasoned scholars, and I’m looking forward to working with you!
